Building Synergies between Social Protection and Public Finance Management

The project’s focus is on supporting governments to strengthen and expand national social protection system through systems strengthening activities towards effective, evidence-based and inclusive financial and budgeting processes. The role of the Global Coalition for Social Protection Floors (GCSPF) is to strengthen national civil society organizations and platforms, expand capacities and structures to enable civil society and trade unions to engage in meaningful dialogues with key social protection stakeholders and governments on social protection design and financing, as well as on monitoring and social accountability, and amplify the voices and concerns of communities and beneficiaries.
